Crick SmithCrick Smith have recently been commissioned to undertake the first phase of an extensive survey of the decorative interior of this nationally important historic house.
In 2008 the house and its fine collection of Chippendale furniture was saved for the nation by a group of trustees led by HRH Prince Charles and Historic Scotland. This trusteeship has funded a Masters student research project supervised by Crick Smith, which has revealed the historic significance of the principal interiors within the house.
Alongside providing valuable information to the house it has also provided a valuable learning experience for the students.
